We are pleased to provide a wide variety of healthy, high-quality organic seedlings for local gardeners. All plants are grown with the same care as the ones we plant on our farm.
Pre-order online to guarantee the selection of your choice! Pre-order closes May 1st. Pick up is on the weekend of 10th - 12th (Mother’s Day Weekend), but please contact us if you need to create an alternate arrangement.
Extras as quantities last will be available for sale on the farm the last 3 weekends in May.

Sweet Pepper Seedlings
All peppers ripen first to green, and then with enough time and heat they will mature to their final colours. In our zone, that can take til late August or September. If you want green peppers, just harvest them early. Plant after the last chance of frost has passed. You can cover them with row cover or a blanket to protect from early frosts in the fall to extend the harvest.

Varieties
King of The North - A popular bell known for its ability to produce good sized peppers in short, cool seasons. Strong plants support heavy yields. OP.
Spotlight - A sweet, thick-walled orange bell.
Lunchbox Pepper - This one is so fun for a home garden, especially if you have kids! Produces perfectly snack-sized mini peppers. They ripen faster than larger peppers. Seeds are mixed so it will be a surprise whether you get red or orange peppers (*yellow was not available this year)
Ollie - Our favourite red bell for field production. Always outperforms other red bells.
Carmen - A red "shepherd" or Italian style elongated pepper. Pairs well with Carmen. Productive, sweet, and ripens to full colour earlier than bell peppers. These italian-type peppers have replaced bells as our own personal favourites for growing, cooking and fresh eating.
Shishito - A speciality green frying pepper popularized in Japan. They are very mild in flavour (but every now and then one comes out spicy!) Toss it in oil and salt and blister it on a pan for an easy and tasty snack or veggie side. They produce a lot!
Golden California Wonder - A popular early-maturing pepper that does well in cold climates.
Escamillo - A yellow "shepherd" or Italian style elongated pepper, Pairs well with Carmen. Productive, sweet, and ripens earlier than bell peppers. These italian-type peppers have replaced bells as our own personal favourites for growing, cooking and fresh eating.
Sweet Chocolate Pepper - a unique variety that ripens to chocolate brown with a red interior. It is a good choice for Canadian gardeners as it is a very early maturing sweet pepper that handles cool nights well.
Gypsy - These small elongated peppers start off yellow-green and ripen to orange and red. They are sweet (even when yellow-green), prolific, and are the earliest propducing peppers in our climate.
