Farm Share (Veggie Box Subscription)
What is a farm share?
Our Farm Share is a subscription service where you sign up to receive a weekly (or bi-weekly) bag of fresh veggies harvested from our farm from June - October (20 weeks total, or 10 for bi-weekly shares). When you sign up, you’ll create an account online. For each week of the share you will be able to log on and see what’s in your bag - then, you can completely customize your order by swapping out items, or adding new items. Your bag of veggies will be available for pick up at the farm, or delivery within the Parkhill/Strathroy/Komoka/Mt Brydges/London area.
Our Farm Share is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. CSAs are the original food box subscription service - a relationship between farmers and the community where buyers support their local farmer by committing to purchase their vegetables all season. The farmer, with early CSA funds and the knowledge that they are supported, can focus on growing quality, healthy vegetables for their community.

What sort of veggies will you get?
Every week, our software creates a bag of veggies for you based on what we are harvesting that week, and the preferences you set [when you create an account, you get to rate what we grow, so you won’t get the veggies you don’t like, and you’ll get more of the ones you love]. You’ll get a weekly email letting you know what’s in your bag. You can log into your account to see what else is available, and then customize your bag from there.
We grow over 30 kinds of vegetables - if you name it, we probably grow it. For some items we don’t grow, we source from other local organic growers.
We plan our growing season to have plenty of variety and availability to choose from. Of course, your options will vary as the season changes.
And it’s not just veggies! We also offer honey, maple syrup, sunflower oil, flowers bouquets, and other local products that you can add to your weekly order.
What if I’m going away on vacation?
No problem! You can hold your share for any weeks you are unavailable to pick up, and then reschedule it for another week. It’s a great way to get extra veggies for when you have company over, or for freezing or preserving the harvest.
Is it organic?
We are not certified organic, but we grow according to the organic standards and do not use any pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc. You can read more about our growing practices here. To offer a wide variety of produce, we also order some items in from our local organic farms. When you customize you share, you will always know where everything is grown, and the growing practices.
