Our Main Season veggie boxes go out in the second week of June, and continue for 20 weeks until the third week of October (the week after Thanksgiving)

Our Fall Season veggie boxes start on the 3rd week of October and continue for 8 weeks until the second week of December.

Main Season: You will get a box of veggies for 20 weeks, or about 5 months, from June to October.

Fall Season: You will get a box of veggies for 8 weeks from the 3rd week of October to the 2nd week of December.

Yes! You can choose to get your veggies every week or every other week.

Our shares are customizable, so every one is different! Your share is made up of a selection of vegetables that equal the weekly value of your share size.

However, on average:

The Regular Share has 6 items weekly.

(for example: 1 bag of salad mix, 1 bunch of kale, two bell peppers, 1 lb of tomatoes, 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, 1 bunch of spring onions)

A Large Share has 10 items weekly.

(ie. 2 bags of salad mix, 1 bunch of kale, 1 lb of tomatoes, 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, 1 bunch of spring onions, 1 bunch of carrots, 2 cucumbers, 2 zucchini, 1 bunch of beets)

A regular share has about 6 items per week a large has about 10.

If you are new to our Farm Share, we recommend getting the regular size box. The majority of our customers use this size. If you know you consume a LOT of vegetables or you like to store things away for the winter, then choose the large box.

You can always change your share size at any point through the season - just send us an email.

We use a pretty cool software company called Grownby to help us manage our Farm Share program. They are a farmer-run cooperative with a social mission to create a strong local food system. They are based in the US and recently expanded to Canada.

We grow all the food and run our farm.

Harvie provides an online platform for us to manage our Farm Share. This platforms allows you as a customer to create an account and log in weekly to see what’s in your weekly box, customize it, put it on hold, and make payments.

We are pleased with the ability that Grownby gives us to offer a modern online experience and customizable shares

Each week you will receive a selection of produce based on what is in season on our farm and based on the preferences you set in your account.

Before you get your box, you can view this selection online, and then customize it to your liking. You can swap out vegetables, remove them, or add more.

(If you go over your weekly box value, you will be charged the difference. If you go under, you will receive a credit)

Seasonality

Part of the fun of joining our Farm Share is eating with the seasons.

Here are some examples of weekly boxes

A Regular Share is $28/week. That’s $560 for a weekly box or $280 for a bi-weekl box.

A Large Share is $40/week. That’s $800 for a weekly box or $400 for a bi-weekly box.

We have 3 payment options:

Pay in full

Pay monthly with a 25% deposit on sign up.

Pay weekly with a 25% deposit on sign up.

Payments are made online with a credit or debit/credit card.

You can easily skip your share from your account. You will receive a credit on your account for the weeks that you skip. That credit will be automatically applied to any balance owing. If no balance is owing, you can use the credit to purchase extras. Credits expire at the end of the season.

You can shop at our self-serve farm store, open year-round. Thursdays 3pm-7pm, Friday to Monday 9am-7pm. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
